Yes. Beginners are trained close to the shore under certified instructors in controlled conditions. Safety equipment and basic first aid support are always available.
Not necessarily. Beginner lessons happen in shallow water with instructor support. Being comfortable in water helps, but swimming is not mandatory to start.
Most surf schools accept participants from around 8–10 years onwards. There’s no strict upper age limit as long as you’re reasonably fit and comfortable in water.
Most beginners are able to stand within the first 1–2 sessions. With 3–5 days of practice, balance and consistency improve significantly.
You can learn the basics like paddling and pop-up in 3 days. However, 5–7 days is recommended to start catching waves more independently.
