Scuba Diving at Havelock Island with Ocean School – Unforgettable Anniversary Experience
Scuba diving at Havelock Island was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us, and choosing Ocean School made it even more special.
The training was conducted in the swimming pool at Ocean Tree Beach Resort, which was perfect for beginners. A special thanks to Aromal, who patiently and calmly trained us for nearly an hour. My wife was initially uncomfortable, but his supportive and reassuring approach helped her gain confidence step by step.
Our Dive Master Ajay was extremely professional throughout the experience. After the training, we travelled by boat to the Dive Site Oval, where the underwater experience was amazing — crystal clear water, great visibility, and I even spotted an octopus, which made the dive unforgettable.
Special thanks to Shreejith for the excellent GoPro photography and videography — the memories captured are priceless.
Since it was our anniversary, I had brought an acrylic photo print sheet with me as a surprise for my wife. The Ocean School team was kind enough to transport it underwater from the boat after our dive, and with their support I was able to present it to her during the dive. This thoughtful cooperation made the moment incredibly emotional and memorable for us.
Overall: Highly professional team (Ajay, Aromal, Shreejith & Villas) safe training, amazing underwater experience, and wonderful support throughout.
If you visit Havelock, scuba diving is a must-do activity, and I strongly recommend going with Ocean School.

I’m a non-swimmer and had a deep fear of water, but my instructor Aromal trained me patiently, explaining everything from basic pool practice to how to go up and down underwater. He stayed with me the entire dive, calmly guiding and encouraging me until my fear completely disappeared. Exploring the underwater world and seeing huge schools of fish for the first time was magical!

The team is professional and supportive especially my instructor Aromal who trained me very patiently, explaining everything from basic pool practice to how to go up and down underwater. Two times i declared that i want to cancel...every time he calmed me down patiently and helped me to take it one step at a time. He stayed with me the entire dive, calmly guiding and encouraging me until my fear completely disappeared. Exploring the underwater world and seeing huge schools of fish for the first time was magical! I saw live corals...an octopus..hit the sea bed at 11 metre and collected a shell from sea bed.
